Ooltewah Elementary

Ooltewah Elementary School opened in 1959 and currently has an enrollment of 471 students in grades K-5. The learning environment is structured so all children have an excellent opportunity to be successful. It is a nurturing and safe environment where the main themes of their mission are reading, thinking, writing, and speaking.

Our goal for students is to become life-long learners and to discover that education is the most powerful tool to improve the quality of their lives. At Ooltewah Elementary, we believe that parents are an integral art to their children’s learning process. We  believe that if they can build partnerships between home and school, children will be more successful academically, understand the value of working together and have a sense of belonging and being part of a learning community.
