Brown International Academy, IB World School

Brown Academy is a work-site magnet school located in the heart of downtown Chattanooga near the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Brown Academy opened its doors to students in 2002 and currently has an enrollment of approximately 442 students in grades PreK-5. As an International Baccalaureate Candidate School, Brown Academy offers a rigorous curriculum that develops the whole child: physically, intellectually, emotionally, and ethnically.

Students have a wide variety of learning experiences and regularly attend music, physical education, and Spanish classes. Brown Academy also offers students with technology labs, a Fast ForWord language lab, and a media center with an extensive collection.
