Ooltewah Middle
Ooltewah Middle School opened in 1977 and is home of the Owls. We currently have an enrollment of approximately 659 students in grades 6-8. Ooltewah Middle is a unique facility alive with teachers and staff who share a joy in learning. We believe that the middle school student has specific needs and tailors curriculum and teaching strategies to those needs. The tone is set by the leadership of the administrative team and by the positive atmosphere of the school.
Expectations of teachers for student learning are high and teachers give students personal encouragement. All students receive instruction in English, reading mathematics, science, and history or geography. The communication between teachers and parents are strong. Parents are always up-to-date regarding all news and every school activity through the award winning website.
