Middle School Operations

Steve Holmes ~ Director of Middle Schools

Middle School Operations department provides operational support to all middle schools (6-8) in the district. This department assists middle school principals with staffing, personnel issues, student and behavior issues as well as parent and community concerns. The operations department is also responsible for professional development for middle school principals and assistant principals. This department collaborates with Pre-K, Federal Programs, Magnet Schools, Character Education and Special Education on issues pertaining to elementary schools.

The Middle School Operations department also collaborates with the Public Education Foundation in administration and implementation of the Middle Schools for a New Society reform initiative.
