Good evening parents of Hamilton County students,

Thank you for a great start to the 2010-2011 school year! The first week of school has been very smooth and we know this is the result of hard work by students, parents, faculty and administrators.

As we move into the semester, we want to remind all parents that positive attendance is very important. Students cannot learn if they are not in school. We must all work together to ensure that our students are in school everyday.

We have many great things happening in Hamilton County Schools including continuing to implement more rigorous academic standards and our Race to the top initiatives. We encourage all parents to get involved in their child’s education. Parent involvement is key to student success.

We look forward to another fabulous year and I thank you for your csupport of Hamilton County Schools.
