Math Textbooks Available for Review

Hamilton County Dept. of Education operates on a 6 year cycle for adopting new textbooks. Math textbooks for both elementary and secondary schools (middle and high schools) are up for adoption this year.
The state dictates the process which includes having a committee of teachers review approved textbooks and make recommendations to the Board of Education. The Board of Education will vote on the proposed adoption at it's regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, April 21, 2011.

The following are final recommendations for secondary school math textbooks. The community is invited to review these sample textbooks at any of Hamilton County's 21 middle schools.
