Parent Engagement
The Parent Engagement and Community Involvement office handles parent engagement/community involvement activities for several Title I schools and oversees the work of family partnership specialists in 19 schools. This office is also responsible for 21st Century Community Learning Centers After-school initiatives, Family Resource Centers, the Promise Neighborhoods initiative and acting as the liaison for social service organizations that offer services and activities in schools.
