Visual Disabilities
Our Purpose
The Department of Visual Disabilities within the Hamilton County Department of Education
strives to identify and assess children with visual impairments, providing a continuum
of services, allowing those children access to a free, appropriate public education.
Our Services
These comprehensive services shall be provided with encouragement, in the least
restrictive environment, affording students the opportunity to be equal, with the
right to be different.
