Outstanding Academic Web Site of the Year
The Hamilton County Schools - Information Services
Department developed the "Web Site of the
Year Award" to honor the outstanding design
efforts of the students enrolled in Hamilton County Schools. The site that is chosen,
has been designed, developed and maintained primarily by the students attending
the school which is represented by the site URL that has been submitted for review.
The award will be presented to the school whose
site contains the following four elements:
- A visually pleasing overall design,
- a consistent and easy to follow navigational structure,
- The implementation of current web technologies,
- Dynamic content &/or content that is kept up-to-date.
The winners for 2008 are:
High School Division
Central High School
Middle School Division
Ooltewah Middle School
