One of today’s #HCSco2020 Senior Spotlights is Jordan Morris, a senior at CSAS. Jordan is an exceptional student who has maintained a 4.0 GPA while primarily taking honors classes. He has also excelled as an athlete, serving as captain of both the basketball and baseball teams, making all district in basketball for two years, and being named co-MVP of the regular season in basketball this year. He was also selected for the all regional team this year in baseball.
Jordan is also very involved in his school and the community. He is a member of the Mayor’s Youth Council, Chattanooga Ambassadors Program, the Audio/Visual Club, Paedia Honor Society, Urban League National Achievers, served on the Mock Youth Court, and is the president of the Kappa Leadership League. He has also received awards for chemistry, Spanish, and positive behavior. Jordan has been able to accomplish all of these things while also balancing being a Type 1 Diabetic.
After graduation, Jordan will attend the University of Tennessee at Knoxville to pursue aeronautical engineering.
