Better opportunities for children today mean a brighter future filled with possibilities for our graduates, their families, and the community.

Willams retired as principal at Westview Elementary at the end of the 2017-2018 school year after serving as principal for 19 years. She also served as the principal at Ganns Middle Valley Elementary.

Jenno retired as principal of Wallace A. Smith Elementary in 2012. She has also filled in as an interim administrator at Allen Elementary, Harrison Elementary, East Brainerd Elementary, Middle Valley Elementary and Rivermont Elementary since her retirement.

Dr. Bryan Johnson, superintendent of Hamilton County Schools; and Dr. John Tharp, executive director of the Harrison Bay Learning Community presented the shirts to Williams and
Jenno at Ooltewah Elementary.

“We are so thankful for all these ladies did for Ooltewah Elementary this year during our season of change,” said Dr. Frank Fischel, principal of Ooltewah Elementary.

Fischel joined Ooltewah Elementary as the new school principal in early February. He came to Chattanooga from Flanders, New Jersey where he was principal at Mountain View Elementary.
