Textbook adoptions occur on a regular cycle (typically every 6 years) that coincides with the Tennessee State Board of Education and Tennessee Department of Education’s academic standards review and revision process. The newly revised academic standards for mathematics was approved by the board on April 20, 2023. The adopted textbooks for K-12 Mathematics aligns with the new standards and will be implemented in the 2023-2024 School Year.
