Hamilton County Department of Education is fortunate to have strong community support from various organizations in and around Chattanooga and Hamilton County. These partners have engaged in the education of our community's youth, giving time, money and human capital to ensure that all students have a bright future.
In the last 10 years, Hamilton County Department of Education has received more than $120 million in local, state and federal grants for programs to benefit students.
These programs range from wide-spread reform efforts at the elementary, middle and high school levels, to a district-wide character education program, magnet school support and partnerships with local businesses that impact classrooms, schools and the district as a whole.
