Virtual Learning Centers Toolkit for Community Organizations

Hamilton County Schools is seeking leaders of faith-based and community-based organizations that are interested in launching Virtual Learning Centers to provide childcare and remote learning support for working families.

This is an opportunity for local organizations to fulfill a need in the community and to support the families they serve. There are multiple levels of engagement, everyone can participate in some way.

Partnership Fund

Through the Hamilton County Schools Foundation (HCSF) Faith-Based Partnership Fund at The Generosity Trust, church/faith-based partners who have signed an MOU with Hamilton County Schools as a Virtual Learning Center partner can apply to receive micro-grants to support their efforts. 

Micro-grants are limited to $500 per student, up to a total of $15,000 per organization. Administrative expenses are limited to no more than 7% of program costs. Allowable expenses include: transportation, utilities, cleaning, supplies including personal protective equipment (e.g. face masks), technology, and staffing. Prohibited expenses include: Food, entertainment, furniture/permanent fixtures.

Virtual Learning Centers Toolkit
