Food Resources

Student Meal Delivery

To assist children and families with food while schools are closed, meals will be prepared at select school cafeterias in Hamilton County Schools for food pickup, and school buses will deliver food to areas where families can’t get to a school location. At schools and bus stop locations, Meals are provided free to all children age 18 and under. Families do not need to provide proof of school enrollment, income, or free/reduced lunch eligibility. Children must be present to receive the meals.

Today’s (04/01/2020) bus delivery of food will be the last run this week as we will not be able to sustain delivery during the break. The Spring Break period starts on Friday, April 3. There will continue to be food available at the 11 school cafeteria locations around the county on the following dates:

-Friday, April 3
-Monday, April 6
-Wednesday, April 8

*There will not be food service on Friday, April 10, because of the Good Friday holiday.

Here are the pickup locations >>

Hamilton County Schools appreciates the support of our bus transportation service provider First Student, independent bus contractors, school nutrition workers, transportation personnel, and the many community volunteers helping to make this effort possible!

We need you! Volunteer sign-up for bus food delivery.
