Speakers at the event will include Hamilton County Mayor Jim Coppinger, Sabrena Smedley, chairman of the Hamilton County Commission and representative of District 7; Dr. Bryan Johnson, superintendent of Hamilton County Schools; Joe Wingate, chairman of the Hamilton County Board of Education and representative for District 7; a representative from MBI Companies; and a parent from the community.
East Hamilton Middle School is a major project in the $125 million building plan approved by the Hamilton County Board of Education in October 2017.
