Jones was diagnosed with health challenges and restricted from physical activity when he was very young, but he has grown to overcome and excel during his school experience. The summer before his junior year, he found theater when he auditioned for a production of the Chattanooga Theatre Center and landed a part. Theater became his focus for the future. He learned that he loved to dance, sing, and perform for an audience.

“The one thing I remember most about my high school experience is the friends I have made and just the fun memories that have shaped me into who I am and what I have become,” Jones said. “I would encourage underclassmen to be yourself and not try to be someone you are not to please others.”

“Levi is just a standout actor,” said Lucy Boydston, Theatre Arts teacher at Soddy Daisy, “Once in a while, you come across a student who really gets it, and Levi is certainly one of those kids.”

Jones will attend East Tennessee State University and major in theater and minor in education. He plans to become a professional actor and maybe one day teach theater in the Chattanooga area.
