Today is the last day of instruction for the Class of 2020, so we felt it would be an excellent time to begin a video salute to some of our seniors. To celebrate the Class of 2020, Senior Video Features for Hamilton County Schools will highlight a senior from each learning community over the next month. The spotlight today is on Taylor Petty, a senior at Red Bank High School in the Rock Point Learning Community.
Petty is a life-long resident of the Red Bank area and grew up in the Red Bank feeder schools. She was also a student-athlete as she participated in softball throughout her years at Red Bank High.
“Softball is like a big family,” said Petty. “My teammates are always supportive, and I know they are there for me.”
Petty will attend the University of Tennessee at Martin in the fall to prepare for a career as a physician’s assistant.
