Please take the time to look through our website. We have posted information on all of our benefits options. Here are a few reminders as you are making decisions about your benefit elections:
- The waiting period for benefits to become effective for new hires is the 1st of the month following the 30th day of employment. Your coverage will not begin until this date and you will not receive insurance cards until approximately this date.
- Please make sure your address is correct on Employee Online. You will not receive id cards if your address is not correct.
- New employees that elect to cover a spouse on their health insurance must complete a Spousal Coverage Affidavit. The affidavit must be:
- Completed by the employee
- Signed by the spouse
- Certified by the spouse's employer if the spouse is employed
