Fall 2023 Student Well-being Survey

Dear HCS Families,

Thank you for being our valued partners as we work together to educate the children in our district. Hamilton County Schools appreciates input from our community – and we need to hear from your child or children! Student voice is foundational to our commitment to foster classrooms and schools where students are known and connected. This survey allows us to hear from them and be responsive to their insights and experiences.

To learn more about student experiences at school, we will be asking for your child's feedback via an online Student Well-being Survey. This survey will be completed at school. The survey will take approximately 10-20 minutes to complete. Results from the survey will be used to help support students' academic achievement by connecting them to in-school resources and programs. If a student does not feel like they have enough information to answer a question, they will be able to skip the item altogether. The responses to these surveys will be completely confidential. The survey content will ask students to reflect on their abilities in a school setting, including self-management, emotional regulation, social awareness, grit, self-efficacy, and growth mindset.
