This was an unprecedented year for our district as we navigated educating students during a global pandemic. Our HCS SAFE Pledge outlined healthy behaviors for students and staff to follow to keep our schools safe and open for in-person learning. These mitigation strategies included wearing a face covering, washing hands frequently, keeping distance from others, and staying home when sick.
Thanks to the incredible commitment of our students, staff, families, and community, our district will end the school year with 90% of learning in person. This is an amazing feat given how challenging this school year has been, and we are so grateful for everyone's efforts to make this possible!
