As an Educator Preparation Provider (EPP), Hamilton County Schools is committed to providing the support and training new and aspiring Career and Technical Education (CTE) teachers need to become exceptional educators and complete the requirements for occupational licensure. "Pathways to Teaching" is a job-embedded program that provides industry experts with an alternative way to become a classroom teacher. Experienced industry professionals who are hired or seeking employment as full-time teachers of record with Hamilton County Schools are invited to apply to participate in Pathways to Teaching and complete the interest survey

Admissions for the Summer 2025 Cohort will begin in January. Stay tuned for more details and important dates!

Candidate Eligibility 

  • Passion and desire to pursue a career in education
  • Full time employment as a CTE Teacher for the 2025-2026 School Year
  • Dedication to completing the full 18-months of required EPP coursework
  • Commitment to teaching the next generation of industry professionals
