Recently, 370 ExEd assistants gathered at Loftis Middle School for professional development, and local businesses and community partners made sure they were treated to plenty of food, goodies and a little extra appreciation.![]()

The first day of school was a great start to the year! It was wonderful to welcome our students back and see so many smiling faces in the hallways and classrooms.![]()
As our students settle into their new routines, we'll also be welcoming our kindergarten students through a phased start over the next few days. This gives our youngest learners a chance to settle in and get comfortable as they begin this exciting new chapter.![]()

Recent Awards and Recognitions
Hamilton County Schools earned an NSPRA Award of Merit through the National School Public Relations Association’s (NSPRA) 2026 Publications and Digital Media Excellence Awards. The honor recognizes excellence in school communications and marketing and places HCS among education organizations from across the United States, Canada, and Department of Defense Education Activity schools worldwide.
