Family Resource Center

The Hamilton County Schools Family Resource Center serves as a hub for whole child supports. The Family Resource Center seeks to engage schools and community stakeholders to identify barriers hindering the social, personal, physical, and academic wellbeing of students and provide high-quality services that empower families.

Hamilton County Schools provides a number of resources to families.  The goal of these resources is to support students and their families through offering student supports, family training, family support, engaging parent and community partnerships.


Family Technical Support Office Hours

Need help with PowerSchool, EdConnect, Canvas for Parents, or student survey opt-ins? The Family Resource Center has special office hours to provide support. Contact us at 423-498-6731 or click the link below to schedule in-person/virtual assistance.

HCS EdConnect no-cost wifi program

Would your students benefit from having EPB WIFI in your home at no-cost to you or your family? HCS is proud to be partnering with EPB to provide high-speed internet at no-cost to over 28,000 income-eligible students in the district. Even if you already have WIFI in your home or on your personal cell phone, you could still be eligible for HCS EdConnect. If you have questions about the program, CLICK HERE for more information. United Way's 2-1-1 is a free and confidential service helping people across the Tennessee Valley find the local resources they need when they need them. One call to 2-1-1 connects you to someone who can help you navigate the maze of human services to get you to the help you need. 2-1-1 offers information about food, housing, employment, transportation, health services, eldercare, and other crisis hotlines.
