I Am Hamilton shirt presented to Nikki Bailey, principal at Lookout Valley Elementary
Nikki Bailey, the principal at Lookout Valley Elementary School, received an “I Am Hamilton” shirt for her selfless passion for service to the children and staff at Lookout Valley. The district presents the special shirts to individuals for efforts that positively impact Hamilton County Schools and the children we serve.
The 2018-2019 school year is Nikki Bailey’s first year at Lookout Valley Elementary “She sets the standards high and pushes us to meet those standards, but at the same time, she is right there helping us and cheering us on,” Jennifer Blevins, educational assistant at Lookout Valley, wrote in her nomination. “Mrs. Bailey puts the students first, and you can see that in everything she does. The students also see it. She carries the weight of the school on her shoulders and does it with grace.”
“I am Hamilton” spotlights the contributions of alumni, teachers, parents, students, support workers, and community members providing opportunities for children in the classrooms of Hamilton County Schools. Better opportunities for children today mean a brighter future filled with possibilities for our graduates, their families, and the community.
