What's New This Year

  • The Dental plan will offer 3 options including a DHMO option.

How to participate in the wellness plan:

HCS has extended the deadline to complete a physical for the Wellness Program through the HCS Clinics to November 30, 2024. *Dependents on your medical plan are not required to participate in the wellness plan.

If you choose not to participate in the wellness plan, your medical premiums will increase by $50 per month.

If you are a tobacco or nicotine user and do not enroll in the tobacco cessation program, your medical premiums will increase by $75 per month.

Spousal Coverage

The medical plans include a provision that benefit eligible employees may only cover a spouse as a dependent if the spouse does not have access to medical coverage through their employer, or if your spouse has a high deductible health plan with a deductible of $3,300 or higher.  Adding a spouse who has access to only a high deductible plan will result in a $100 monthly surcharge.
If you cover a spouse on your medical plan, please complete the information required in the employee benefits portal.

Dependent Coverage
If you are adding dependents to your coverage for the first time, you must attach documentation.  Covering a spouse requires a marriage certificate and covering children requires birth certificate or adoption documentation.
