This month our #IAmHamilton feature spotlights Bus Driver, Paul Mashburn. Mashburn has been driving buses for over 50 years and has spent 48 of those years driving in Hamilton County. He loves his community and driving his bus. Mashburn drives a regular route for Lookout Valley schools, where he is able to drive his great-grandson. Mashburn is proud to own the bus he drives, and community members always know bus #49 is Mashburn because it is always shiny and clean!
"Paul is a great guy and we love having him as one of our drivers," said Brandon Allen, HCS Transportation Compliance Manager. "He is a great driver that cares about his students and helping them get to school safely where they can learn and thrive. "
“I am Hamilton” spotlights the contributions of alumni, teachers, parents, students, support workers, and community members who are creating opportunities for our children to thrive. Better opportunities for children today mean a brighter future filled with possibilities for our graduates, their families, and the community.
